ROSS BERG

Owner and Operator

Ross discovered the mountains as a teenager while visiting western Canada’s best winter destinations as a sponsored snowboarder. At 16, he was introduced to rock climbing through a local Whistler guide. This experience completely captivated him and opened his eyes to the huge potential the mountains present. In the following years, he completed his certification through the International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations (IFMGA) to be an international mountain guide. “I feel privileged to be able to work as a mountain guide and look forward to sharing the thrill of the mountains with my guests.”

Ross has guided, climbed and skied in the European Alps for the last several seasons. When he’s at home he can be found working as a heli-ski guide in winters and climbing alpine rock routes in summer.

Robert Thor

Guide

Robert Thor has been guiding in the mountains for over 20 years in Iceland, Greenland, and Canada.  His outdoor aspirations began as a volunteer for SAR and a park ranger in Iceland.  Having crossed the Greenland icecap and Iceland multiple times by foot and skis, he decided to explore new challenges in Canada.  Robert is an ACMG certified ski guide and an instructor for the Canadian Avalanche Association.

Now a father of two, Robert is well practiced in keeping calm and keeping his sense of humor in times of chaos.  Always enjoying a diversified life, Robert splits his time between Canada and Iceland.  During his offseason, Robert stays busy as a landscape architect and graphic designer.

When not skiing Scott loves to mountain bike, travel and spend time with his friends, family, wife and two kids.
